Mar 31, 2016 at 12:35 PM
hey all , hope you doing well,

i am wondering if anyone already face this problem, i am creating a windows service and this service crashes when i acquire an document from the auto feeder and there is no document in the feeder , in the normal cases without the windows service the app prompt me to add a document in the feeder and retry again , so is there any way to check if there is a paper in the feeder or not ??

Hello, anasomar.
Most a data sources can not operate normally in a windows service. Therefore, to ensure the normal operation, the scan must be run in an external process on the user's behalf. See Saraff.Twain.NET Silverlight Samples and Saraff.Twain.NET Outproc Samples.
