feeder scanning: Split document on barcode

Jan 21, 2014 at 10:18 AM
Hello,

Is there someone who has experience with bulk scanning and starting a new document every time a specific barcode is scanned.

I want to make a small C# app where I can register my incomming Household invoices. After paying the bills I want to scan all the documents at one to seperated pdf files per month.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply! The feeder is no problem it works perfect.

The problem starts at the moment I want to split the document when there is a page with a barcode.

Example: I have 10 invoices in total. First is invoice with 2 pages, second invoice with 4 pages, third invoice with 1 page, ....
Before I put the documents on the feeder I want manually add a page with barcode as seperator after every new invoice
Everytime the scanner finds the barcode he saves the current scan to a new PDF document.

Sorry for my english but I hope the example can give some extra info about my question.

thanks

Hello, Redspider.
I believe that in this situation, you should handle the event EndXfer. Example of using this event can be seen in Saraff.Twain.Sample2.
